New Executive Chef Matt Kemp to Serve Up Great Waterfront Dining at Q Station

From 1 March 2016, one of Australia’s most well-respected and recognised chefs, Matt Kemp will take the helm as Executive Chef of Q Station Sydney Harbour National Park Manly, primarily serving up fantastic cuisine at Boilerhouse Restaurant & Bar.

Making the move from the highly-popular Charing Cross Hotel, Matt Kemp is no stranger to Q Station having been the Ambassador Chef for Boilerhouse Restaurant since March 2014.

Of this new role, Matt said, “I am extremely pleased to join the Q Station team fully as the Executive Chef and take up this new challenge to implement fantastic new concepts and ideas for all the food & beverage offerings, especially in Boilerhouse Restaurant.”

“I look forward to sink my teeth into this new role. It will allow me to further implement my philosophy of fresh, seasonal and quality food, into the incredible historical surroundings of Q Station for a unique dining experience. Whether as a dining guest, a conference & event attendee or as part of a wedding celebration, there will be something for everyone.”

First on the menu of this new appointment will see Matt design a brand new dining menu for Boilerhouse Restaurant, to be launched in April.

Formerly of Randwick’s Restaurant Balzac and the hatted Banc Restaurant, amongst many other highly-regarded restaurants, Matt has worked alongside some of the best in the business.
